The scanned in pages of the scrap-book are fairly self-explanatory.
Of interest, though, is the first meal Daisy had in the USA. It was at an Italian restaurant where the menu had no pictures. In China, menus do have pictures so foreigners simply point to order their meal.
This was Daisy’s first trip to the USA. She is fluent, able to both read and speak our English language. The real humor came when we were leaving the restaurant. Outside, the owner of another restaurant was speaking Mandarin on his cell phone. Only Daisy understood what he was saying.
